This effort to help sustain the honeybee is a father/son operation. Todd, the dad, is a 21-year retired Air Force veteran. His interest in beekeeping began many years ago while stationed in Alaska. Upon moving to Minnesota he decided to get some bees and  see how things went. Thomas, the son, was born in Alaska and has been instrumental helping in the bee yard and doing much of the heavy lifting.

We began this journey in 2019 with two colonies. By the end of summer in 2020 we were up to six colonies. Over the winter of 2020 we lost some bees due to the late cold snap. In 2021 we have been working our four colonies and taking care of them the best we know how. We learn something new with each visit to the bee yard.

We are working to be able to take orders online and hope to have that up shortly. In the meantime, if you are in Pine, Chisago, or Isanti county we would be happy to work something out for delivery. Our honeys change with the seasons, so be sure to try it at different time throughout the late summer and fall!
